Today’s Motivation GIVE YOUR GOAL LIFE EVERYDAY

GIVE YOUR GOAL LIFE EVERYDAY

Achieving a goal necessitates managing your life.
Write out the specifics of your goal.
Set your priorities to attain your goal.

Learn what activities support your goal, what
activities undermine the accomplishment of your
goal.

Concentrate all the time – EVERYDAY - on
achieving your goal.

Avoid distraction. Turn off the TV. Post your
goal in prominent places where you will see it.
Send yourself daily reminders of your goal.
Enroll a friend to ask you what you did today
to move closer to your goal.

Be present to your goal all the time. Hold it as
sacred as an oath. Give it life every day.

Today’s Motivation COMMIT PUBLICLY

COMMIT PUBLICLY

There is a great value in making a public commitment of
a goal or an intention. A person will strive to accomplish
their goal once it’s out for all to see.

As a human being one is driven by “looking good” in front
of others. You will go to extremes not to look bad. By making
a commitment in public you will stretch yourself to complete
a task.

Share with friends and family. Publish your vision in a blog
or article. Get it out into the open for all to hold you accountable.
Give progress updates. You may waiver in your determination
but knowing your immediate world is watching will get you
motivated and moving.

Commit to something today – in public!

Your Daily Motivation FOLLOW THE PATH OF OTHERS TO SUCCESS

FOLLOW THE PATH OF OTHERS TO SUCCESS

You can learn from other people to make up for
your lack of experience in any area of life.

Be open and receptive to the people around you.
They have things to teach you.
Take advantage of the people that have made the
journey ahead of you.

Pick the right role models.
Don't look for people that make you feel good or
entertain you.
Look for people that can help you.
Role models are more than people you like and
admire.

The key is to look for people that will help you to
be more successful. You can learn from the mis-
takes of others.
You can learn different approaches to overcoming
challenges.

Learning "what not to do" is as important as learning
"what to do."

Today’s Motivation PROCLAIM YOUR GOAL

PROCLAIM YOUR GOAL

With all the distractions around it is easy to clutter up your focus.
Your goal should be a top priority.
You will have to work at keeping it there.

Post your goal in big words. Make it just a few words long, like a
mantra (”Exercise 15 mins. Daily”, Double Sales This week!), and
post it on your mirror, refrigerator or on the wall next to the door
you use to leave your home and go out into the world.

Post it both at home and work. Put it on your computer desktop.

You want to have big reminders about your goal, to keep it ever
present for you. Let all the other clutter settle behind your goal.
Use pictures if you can.

Keep your focus and your excitement going by keeping your goal
ever present in your minds eye.

Today’s Motivation BUILD ANTICIPATION

BUILD ANTICIPATION

Here’s a very useful tip you can really get
excited about… but not just yet.

Don’t start immediately on that goal you have
set for yourself. It can be a mistake to jump
right into working on a goal without proper
preparation.

Rather, set a date and make it your start date.
Mark it on the calendar. Get excited about
that date. Make is an event, a most important
date.

In the meantime, write out a goal fulfilling plan.
Delaying your start will build anticipation and
increase your focus, energy and determination.

Consider, great coffee takes time to percolate,
why not let your most worthy goal?

Today’s Motivation GET EXCITED!

GET EXCITED!

Sounds obvious, right? But most don’t think
about it much. Want to break out of a slump?
Get yourself excited about a goal.

How to do that when you don’t feel motivated?
Well, it starts with inspiration from others, from
the miracles all around.

Take that excitement and build on it.
Talk about it, read as much about it as possible.
Visualizing what it would be like to be successful.
See the benefits of the goal in your head and in
your hand.

Get yourself excited about a goal.
Once you’ve done that, it’s just a matter of carrying
that energy forward and keeping it going.
