What gets you excited in life?

For me there are so many things. I get excited when I book a piece of business. I get excited when I control certain thoughts. I get excited about our next trip. I get excited understanding a transformational concept. And, there’s more! Gee, when I think about it, I lead a pretty exciting life!

When was the last time?

We all have our routines. Things we do or think on a regular, unvarying, habitual and unimaginative way. We get up to a routine, go to work to a routine, work to a routine, come home and go to sleep to a routine. We think the same thoughts, say the same things, hold the same beliefs day in and day out. Days slip by and life becomes dull, uninspired, tedious, even mind-numbing because we make it methodical and mundane.

When was the last time you stepped boldly out of your routine and did something new?

What are you here for?

You’ve been placed here, in life, by your Creator (whatever you believe that to be) for an earthly purpose. Your individual gift is like no others. Only certain people can receive your gift. Your purpose is to know your gift, find those people and share your gift. There is a specific task you are here to accomplish.  

What are you here for?

Imagine That!

Is there anything that is not possible?

Within the human mind are there any limitations to imagination?

Is there a place in business for faith?

Faith is having belief in something without tangible proof. According to Robert A. Russell, “Faith is a mental attitude against which there is no possibility of contradiction.”

Beyond having a religious faith do you have faith in other areas of your life, particularly in business? Is there a place in business for faith?

Ignoring the Obvious

Why it is that we tend to ignore the obvious, the stuff that’s right in front of us, big, bold and bodacious? For instance someone tells you something over and over and over again and you stand there with your fingers in your ears singing, la-la-la-la-la-la.

Then one day you hear it loud and clear and wonder how could you have missed it? Chances are you didn’t want to hear it or believe it. What was being said or done was not what you wanted, it was uncomfortable, or it didn’t fit in with your plans.

Have you ever ignored the obvious? What important piece are you overlooking today?
