Today’s Motivation I LOVE

I LOVE

Love is your behavior towards others. Love has many
meanings. It can mean an intense feeling of affection,
an emotion or emotional state.

“Conquer the angry man by love. ~ Buddha

"In love, one and one are one." ~ Jean-Paul Sartre

"If you judge people, you have no time to love them."
~ Mother Teresa

"Whenever you are confronted with an opponent,
conquer him with love." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

In daily use, love usually refers to interpersonal love.

Interpersonal love is love between human beings, and is
more sympathetic than the notion of very much liking for
another. Although feelings are usually reciprocal, there
can also be unrequited love. Interpersonal love is usually
found in an interpersonal relationship, such as between
family members, friends, and couples. However, people
often express love for other people outside of these relation-
ships through compassionate outreach and volunteering.

Some elements that are often present in interpersonal love:

    *      Affection: appreciation of other
    *      Attachment: satisfying basic emotional needs
    *      Reciprocation: if love is mutual
    *      Commitment: a desire to maintain love
    *      Emotional intimacy: sharing emotions and feelings
    *      Kinship: family bonds
    *      Passion: desire
    *      Physical intimacy: sharing of personal space
    *      Self-interest: desiring rewards
    *      Service: desire to help

Successful people win because they love what they do. All
of them have a very strong desire to succeed. They have
passion for their field, their business.

Passion is the single fastest way to spur yourself to massive
success. It is something you love. Something you're excited
about. Something you get up early to work on or to stay up
late.

What is Love?
The name that can be named is not the eternal Name.
The unnamable is the eternally real. If you focus on
the name, you lose the substance.
So, can Love be defined?
No, if we live it.
And yes, for all other purposes.
~ Lao Tzu.

Today’s Motivation ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING! REALLY? REALLY!

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING! REALLY? REALLY!

Attitudes are the established ways of responding to people and situations
that we have learned, based on the beliefs, values and assumptions we
hold. Attitudes become manifest through your behavior.

William N. Yeomans in "1000 Things You Never Learned in Business
School" puts it this way:

"Almost always, you have a choice as to what attitude to adopt. There is
nothing in any normal work situation that dictates you must react one way
or another. If you feel angry about something that happens, for instance,
that's how you choose to feel. Nothing in the event itself makes it absolutely
necessary for you to feel that way. It is your choice. And since you do have
a choice, most of the time you'll be better off if you choose to react in a
positive rather than a negative way."

Positive Attitude Means Longer Life

If you want to live a longer, healthier life then develop and maintain a positive
attitude – it's now a fact thanks to a study from the two American Universities.
("How A Positive Attitude Changes Your Life," Karim Hajee) Researchers fol-
lowed and studied 1500 people for 7-years. All 1500 were in good health when
the study started. Researchers followed how they aged by measuring such things
as weight loss, walking speed, exhaustion and the strength of their grip.

What exactly did they discover? They found that people who maintained a posi-
tive attitude were significantly less likely to show signs of aging, they were less
likely to become frail and were more likely to be stronger and healthier than
those that had a negative attitude. If you have a doom and gloom attitude you're
actually killing yourself and at the very least – you're negative attitude is just
making you weaker.

It is not what happens to you that counts. It is how you react to what happens
to you, especially when you have unexpected problems of any kind. Learn and
master powerful strategies you can use to keep yourself thinking and acting
positively and creatively.
