The truth is not moldable. It’s not designed to be like clay in the potter’s hands to be shaped and fashioned to suit ones need. Attempting to manipulate the truth is like trying to see how close you can get a lit match to a dynamite fuse without lighting it.
LITTLE-WHITE-LIE Theory
The danger in telling little white lies, which wouldn’t cause too many problems of and by themselves, is that they tend to lead to big black lies, which cause lots of problems. Morally and pragmatically, a lie is a lie!
