A mother and daughter were preparing a holiday meal including a beautiful ham. Mom cut off the ends of the ham to which her daughter asked, “Why do you do that, cut the ends of the ham?” Mom replied, “Your grandmother always did it that way.” The little girl asked why.
They decided to find out and call grandma to which she said, “I used to cut the ends of the ham off because it didn’t fit in my roasting pan.”
