Today’s Motivation – Mind Your Thoughts

Your life becomes what you put your attention on. If you watch the news and take in all of the doom and gloom, that’s what you life will take on. Focus your attention on your definite chief aim, happiness, desire and your goals, that’s what your life will take on.

Mind your thoughts.

"You become what you think about."

Today’s Transformation – Listen, do you want to know a secret?

When you are in a conversation with someone are you just waiting your turn to talk? Are you really listening to what is being said or are you merely judging and evaluating? The way we listen to others can determine the amount of valuable and insightful information we gain from another.

Consider this example…
On every commercial flight you have taken there is a safety announcement. Mostly we read a magazine, stare out the window and don’t really listen. That’s one type of listening. However, if that same steward started making an announcement in flight about a pending emergency landing you’d listen differently, intently. Why? Because your life depended upon it.

Listen as if you life depended upon it.

By granting someone your full attention when they speak, not only will you learn a lot but you will show the respect and honor to another of your full attention.

Today’s Motivation – MAKEABLE-DEAL Theory

Got to have the next best thing, shiny object syndrome, over there is better than over here… and on and on and on.

Focus your attention on one thing and do that one thing well before moving on to the next.

MAKABLE-DEAL Theory

Expend your efforts in working hard to find one makeable deal, rather than working hard on an endless number of unmakeable deals and clinging to the faint home that you will somehow close one.

Today’s Motivation – FIDDLE Theory

Allowing your to attention wander and your focus blur the further from your goal you will find yourself. Keep your eye on the ball.

FIDDLE Theory

The longer you fiddle around with a deal, the greater the odds that it will never close.

Today’s Motivation – CONCENTRATION-PAYOFF Theory

Intently focusing your attention and thought on the problem at hand is the most direct path to its accomplishment. The time spent in preparation is its own reward.

CONCENTRATION-PAYOFF Theory

Success is directly dependent upon the total number of hours one is able to devote to intense, uninterrupted concentration.

Today’s Motivation MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION?

MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION?

If you will not speak up for yourself then who will? How will the
world know what special talent you have to offer if you don’t open
your mouth?

Everyone has a voice, a powerful loud speaker connected directly
from your thoughts, your dreams and your motivations. If it is
put on mute there is nothing to distinguish you from the herd.

Speak up for yourself. Enroll others in your ideas and visions. Shout
from the highest mountain those things that are important to you,
to the world.

Today’s Motivation FOCUS LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT

FOCUS LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT

There is simply too much to deal with everyday. How
do you possibly deal with it all?

If you are not focused, a thousand details eats away at
your time. You probably don’t get much of anything
accomplished if you are not highly focused. Unless
you make a conscious effort to focus your attention,
you'll be mired in the meaningless.

Focus is what ties everything together, gives one a
context; gives you productive direction to do something
with it all.

Make the choice to focus your efforts, your goals, and
your vision. Select what there is to accomplish this day
and concentrate until it is done.

With a clear sense of direction everything becomes an
opportunity instead of a distraction.

So set a very clear idea of where you want to go, of what
you want to do. Remind yourself of it often throughout
the day. Then, almost as if by magic, the energy around
you will align in the direction of your goals.
