Within each one of us are the makings of a true hero.
That is one who, in the opinion of others, has performed
a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal.
A hero sets personal standards and never compromises.
A hero can be counted on to honor his or her word.
A hero goes above and beyond the call of duty.
A hero is actively involved in community.
A hero gives expecting nothing in return.
A hero plays fairly, tells the truth, and follows the rules.
A hero is unselfishly concerned for the welfare of others.
A hero is loyal, courageous and determined.
