Today’s Motivation – HYPE Theory

Fooling yourself to think contrary to the truth will most probably cause a detrimental outcome. Hoping that things are different than they are, not dealing with reality will most definitely cause a nasty ending.

Bravely face the facts and move forward with certainty.

HYPE Theory

Hyping oneself is toxic; believing one’s own hype is fatal.

Today’s Motivation - ASSUMPTION Theory

They say that when you ASSUME something you make an ASS out of U and ME. How many times have you heard something like this, “well I thought they would stop” or “I figured they knew the door was unlocked” or “don’t worry, this job is a piece of cake” or… well you get the picture.

It’s your business, your life, get your facts straight and don’t assume anything. You never know, you might be bargaining with Murphy.

ASSUMPTION Theory

The only safe assumption in life is that the person who assures you that everything is all right is all wrong.

Today’s Motivation SNUGGLING WITH REALITY

SNUGGLING WITH REALITY

See things as they really are, not as you imagine or hope they are.
Truth isn't a matter of your personal viewpoint, nor can your point
of view shape the facts.

The truth does not change because it is, or is not, believed by a majority
of people. If sixty million people say a foolish thing, it's still a foolish
thing. The sky is no less blue because the blind man does not see it.

No matter what you believe, it never changes the facts. The facts always
speak for themselves. Deal in reality; deal with what’s so. Assess the facts
and act upon them in truth and in honesty.

Today’s Motivation “JUST THE FACTS MA’AM.”

“JUST THE FACTS MA’AM.”

Ever feel stuck about something? You can’t see another way for
something to be or a different way to interpret an occurrence? So,
something happened and there are the facts about what happened.

For instance, Johnny was riding his bike and fell off. That’s what
happened. You could make up any kind of story about that instance.
Johnny is not very good riding his bicycle. Johnny wasn’t watching
where he was going. Johnny is a klutz. What you make up about a
situation, what you say and think about what happened is funda-
mental to being human. We always want to be right, we always
want to give a reason.

Consider that you have vast power over what interpretation you
bring to a situation. Something happened or something did not
happen and you made up a story about it. What if you didn’t do
that? What if you became like Sgt. Jack Friday from Dragnet and
just looked at “the facts, ma’am, just the facts.” You could avoid
upsets, not pass judgments, never be wrong and it would give you
a great deal of power over your life.

Your Daily Motivation THE FACTS ALWAYS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

THE FACTS ALWAYS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

The truth isn't a matter of your personal viewpoint.
Learn to see things as they really are, not as you imagine they are.

Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or who says it.
No matter what you believe, it never changes the facts.
If they are there, the facts always speak for themselves.

The truth does not change because it is, or is not,
believed by a majority of people.
If sixty million people say a foolish thing, it's still a foolish thing.

No authority is higher than reality.
The sky is no less blue because the blind man doesn't see it.
