Here Kitty Kitty!

My comment to a depressed lady on a Facebook cat page:
The game to play is to make those bouts of depression shorter and shorter. Cats are definitely part of the solution. I’ve gotten my bouts with “it” down to minutes. Here kitty, kitty.

Which Path?

You could seek and easily find all the problems, focusing your attention on what’s wrong. Or you take the more challenging path and contribute your creativity, your humanity and your style to identify a solution.

Today’s Motivation – LIFE-COMPLICATION Theory

Life is never as complicated as one makes it out to be. In fact, there is usually a readily available answer that is so simple it seems absurd to consider.

LIFE-COMPLICATION Theory

Given a choice between an easy solution and a complicated one, the loser will usually opt to travel the complicated path. Don’t ignore a solution just because it’s simple!

Today’s Motivation – The Best Way Out

Today’s Motivation – The Best Way Out

It is the nature of being human to find ourselves getting stuck. We get stuck when we take a position on a subject and are inflexible in being open to an alternative solution. The exciting point is there is always another solution.

Here’s only one way from poet Robert Frost:

“The best way out is always through.” ~Robert Frost

Today’s Motivation YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

Most situations in life come with built in solutions. Problems always
have solutions.

If something is broken, fix it or replace it. If you’ve said something
you should not have said, go apologize to the person you offended.
If your doctor tells you to lose weight for a variety of reasons, figure
the best way to take off the pounds. It’s really very simple. Or is it?

If we know what the solution to a problem is why, in most cases,
does the problem go unresolved? What roadblocks and resistance
do we construct to keep the problem in place?

You know what to do, so just do it so you can focus on the objects
of your desire.

Make the apology.
Build the bridge.
Fix what’s broken.
Buy the new part.
Mend the fence.
Turn the other cheek.
Douse the fire.
Ignite a fire.

Whatever it calls for you know what to do. Do it today.

Today’s Motivation AN ANSWER FROM WITHIN

AN ANSWER FROM WITHIN

The most powerful way to influence someone is to guide
him or her to find answers for themselves. Here’s another
way to say it:

"You cannot teach a person anything; you can only help
him find it within himself."
~ Galileo Gallilei

Since the answer is already within your job becomes that
of one who helps to reveal it within another. Begin to peel
back the layers disguising the answer; slowly nudge one
toward seeing the solution for themselves.

The greatest impact comes to someone when they come
to a conclusion by for themselves. It is a skill well worth
honing. You can practice on yourself.

Today’s Motivation - OUR GREATEST ASSET

OUR GREATEST ASSET

Sound character is our greatest asset. It provides the power with which we may ride the upsets of life instead of going down under them.

Persons of sound character have a positive mental attitude developed through the upsets that naturally come from being alive. They are honest, have a reputation for integrity. They are someone to be counted upon through thick and thin.

As you face each instance life places in your path take it on so to develop your character. Always focus on an honorable solution that advances a purpose to better all.
